Attackers took $387.5 million from Bitget on Thursday. NEAR Intents, a cross-chain protocol, says it has since blocked more than $50 million in attempted transfers connected to that hack.
NEAR Intents says it works to stop stolen money from being laundered through its system. That puts it on the opposite side from THORChain, which holds that it does not selectively censor transactions.
The report, published Sep 29, 2026, does not say where the remaining funds are or whether any money will return to Bitget. It also does not say how NEAR Intents linked the blocked transfers to the hack.
For someone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, the report says nothing about funding rates, trading fees or liquidity. Based on what is known, nothing changes directly for those positions.
