Phantom, a crypto wallet provider, has started offering prediction markets to eligible US users through an integration with Kalshi. Users can trade on crypto prices, sports and other real-world events without leaving the Phantom app. Cointelegraph reported the launch on Oct 28, 2026.
The products are event contracts, which come from Kalshi and are regulated by the CFTC. Phantom adds access to them inside its wallet. Kalshi supplies the markets themselves.
The launch comes as prediction markets in the US face a growing number of legal challenges. The report does not say who is bringing those challenges or whether any of them involve Kalshi or Phantom. It also does not say which users count as eligible, what the contracts cost to trade, or which events are listed.
For someone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. Event contracts are not perpetual futures, none of those four exchanges is named in the report, and nothing in it touches their funding rates, fees or liquidity.
