Zano has rolled back about one month of its blockchain history. Its core team says a flaw involving Gateway Addresses let unauthorized ZANO and Freedom Dollar enter circulation. The report was published on September 28, 2026.
The network now restarts from the block just before Hard Fork 6. That upgrade is the one that added Gateway Addresses. Everything recorded on the chain after that point has been undone.
The report does not say how many unauthorized tokens were created or who created them. It also does not say what happens to ordinary transactions made during the month that was removed. Those questions are open until the core team or others give more detail.
For anyone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, the report changes nothing directly. It does not mention any exchange, derivatives market, funding rate, fee or liquidity change. Perp Desk has no figures here that tie this rollback to the cost of holding any contract.
