CoinShares has published a survey of affluent investors in seven of the world's largest economies. It found that most of them already own digital assets. On average, crypto makes up about 10% of their portfolios.
The survey shows a split between these investors and their financial advisers. The investors are adding to their crypto holdings. Cointelegraph's report says the advisers are still too cautious about digital assets.
Cointelegraph ran the story on Oct 6, 2026. Nate Kostar wrote it and Robert Lakin edited it. The text available here does not name the seven countries or give the number of people surveyed. It also does not say how much these investors added or which assets they hold.
For a trader who already holds a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. The survey covers portfolio holdings. It does not mention derivatives, funding rates, trading fees or exchange liquidity. Nothing in the report connects it to what a perp position costs to hold today.
