Did Strategy Buy More Bitcoin? Saylor Teases, Answer Waits a Day

2026-10-11

Michael Saylor, chair of Strategy, posted "There's always room for more orange" on X on Sunday. Investors who watch his Sunday posts read them as a hint about the company's latest Bitcoin purchases. The post did not say whether Strategy bought Bitcoin or how much.

Investors will have to wait one day longer than usual to learn whether Strategy added Bitcoin to its treasury in the first week of October, and how much. Until that update comes out, nothing about a purchase is confirmed.

Strategy ended September with buybacks of STRC, according to the Cointelegraph report published on Oct. 11, 2026. The report available to us gives no size, price or other details for those buybacks.

For anyone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. A post on X does not change funding rates, trading fees or order book liquidity. The only new fact is that a disclosure is coming one day late, and its contents are not yet known.
