Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has taken in new money at a valuation of $25 billion, Cointelegraph reported on Oct 6, 2026. OKX did not say how much it raised.
The money came from partners and investors who already backed OKX. It adds to an investment round from March, which was led by the company that owns the New York Stock Exchange.
The report does not name the new investors or give the size of the stake they bought. It also does not say what OKX will use the money for. Cointelegraph staff writer Zoltan Vardai wrote the report, and Yohan Yun edited it.
If you already hold a perpetual position on OKX, nothing changes directly. The report mentions no change to funding rates, trading fees, margin rules or contract listings. The raise is about who owns the company and what it is worth. It does not affect what a position costs to hold today.
