Securitize Jumps 8% on LG CNS Deal as Seoul Readies Token Rules

2026-10-06

Shares of Securitize, a tokenization platform, rose about 8% on Tuesday. The move came after the company said it had formed a partnership with LG CNS, a technology company based in South Korea.

The deal comes as South Korea gets ready to bring in a new framework for tokenized securities. Those rules cover tokenized stocks, bonds and funds, and they are set to start in February 2027.

The partnership gives Securitize a presence in South Korea before those rules take effect. The report, published Oct. 6, 2026, does not say what the partnership is worth, what LG CNS and Securitize will build together, or when any product will launch.

For anyone already holding a perpetual futures position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. The story is about a company's share price and securities rules in South Korea that begin in 2027. It does not mention crypto perpetuals, funding rates, trading fees or liquidity on any of these exchanges.
