Onchain data from CryptoQuant suggests Bitcoin may have reached a local price low in early October, according to a Cointelegraph report published on Oct 14, 2026. The report says buyer demand for BTC held up even with pressure from outside the crypto market. On that basis, the article argues Bitcoin can still have the strong October it has often had in the past, a pattern traders call 'Uptober'.
The report is built around three CryptoQuant charts. The excerpt available to Perp Desk does not say what those three charts measure or give their figures. CryptoQuant's own wording is a 'potential bottom', which is a possibility, not a confirmed low.
The Cointelegraph page carrying the report listed BTC at $83,411.77. William Suberg wrote the piece and Yohan Yun edited it.
For anyone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this report changes nothing directly. It is onchain analysis of spot demand. It says nothing about funding rates, trading fees or order-book liquidity on any of these exchanges. Your holding cost is still set by the funding rate printed at each interval, and this story contains no data on that.
