Circle has a partnership with Tereina to put its two stablecoins, USDC and EURC, into business payment systems. Tereina is a financial services company. It is backed by SAP, the large German maker of business software. Cointelegraph reported the deal on Oct 7, 2026.
Under the deal, businesses will be able to send and receive USDC and EURC from inside the financial software they already run. They would not need a separate tool to make those payments. USDC is Circle's dollar stablecoin and EURC is its euro stablecoin.
The report does not say when the service starts or which SAP customers will get it first. It also does not say what it will cost businesses or how much payment volume is expected. Those details are not yet known.
For someone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, nothing changes directly. The deal is about business payments. It says nothing about exchange funding rates, trading fees or order-book liquidity, and none of the four exchanges is mentioned. Any effect on stablecoin flows into derivatives markets would have to show up in data first, and no such data exists yet.
