Gnosis Pay revealed on Nov. 6, 2026, that unauthorized access compromised its legacy consumer card setup three days prior. The security incident exposed sensitive financial and personal records, including complete debit card numbers, expiration dates, CVV codes, names, home addresses, and linked cryptocurrency wallet addresses.
Additional compromised records included phone numbers, email addresses, nationalities, and banking details such as IBAN and BIC identifiers. Gnosis Pay stated that it contained the unauthorized access within two hours on Nov. 3, updated affected security credentials, and made 3D Secure verification compulsory for online purchases.
Breach notifications sent to customers confirmed that impacted cards were canceled on Nov. 3 without any unauthorized asset movements or balance losses. The provider noted that its separate enterprise platform was unaffected and that the legacy consumer system is scheduled for full retirement in December.
For traders holding positions in perpetual futures markets, this security incident causes no direct changes to funding rates, exchange fees, or contract liquidity. Because the compromise remained isolated to consumer payment card infrastructure, perpetual derivatives trading across major venues operates without impact.
