US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds lost about $262 million in net outflows on Wednesday, according to SoSoValue data cited by Cointelegraph. The day before, the same funds had taken in $176 million. The withdrawals came as the price of BTC dropped under $82,000.
Wednesday's outflows pushed the week's total into the negative. Since Monday, the funds have recorded $151 million in net outflows. In the previous week, investors pulled $681 million from them.
The report's headline says XRP funds went against this weekly outflow trend. The part of the report available here gives no XRP fund flow figures, so how much money went into those funds is not known from this source.
For someone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. ETF flows do not set funding rates or trading fees on these exchanges. The report says nothing about funding, open interest or order-book liquidity, so it gives no evidence that any of them moved.
