Euro, franc, krona, now dollar: AllUnity launches USDAU

2026-09-30

AllUnity, a stablecoin issuer based in Europe, is launching USDAU, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. Cointelegraph reported the launch on Sep 30, 2026.

USDAU is AllUnity's fourth fiat-backed stablecoin. The company already issues tokens tied to the euro, the Swiss franc and the Swedish krona, and its lineup is regulated under MiCA.

The report places the launch against a stablecoin market where dollar-pegged tokens are the dominant type worldwide. It does not give a supply figure for USDAU, the blockchains it will run on, or which exchanges, if any, will list it.

For someone already holding a perpetual position on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX, this changes nothing directly. The report does not say USDAU will be listed on those exchanges, accepted as margin, or used to settle any contract, so funding, fees and liquidity on existing positions are unaffected by this news as it stands.
