Kalshi, a prediction market platform, is in advanced talks to raise about $1 billion in a new funding round. Reuters reported that the round would value the company at $40 billion. Cointelegraph carried the report on Sep 30, 2026.
Four months ago, Kalshi raised $1 billion at a $22 billion valuation. That earlier round had itself doubled the company's valuation from December. If the new round closes at the reported price, Kalshi's valuation would rise by $18 billion in about four months.
These are talks, not a finished deal. The report available here does not name the investors or give final terms, and it does not say when the round could close.
Kalshi is not one of the four exchanges this site tracks. This report does not change funding rates, trading fees or liquidity on Bitget, Bybit, MEXC or OKX. If you already hold a perpetual position, it has no direct effect on you.
