Most KYC rejections are three avoidable mistakes. Here they are, plus what each verification tier actually unlocks.

Identity verification is where a large share of new accounts stall — not because it is hard, but because the failure modes are unexplained and people give up after one rejection.
Automated review is usually minutes. Manual review, triggered by an unclear image or a jurisdiction flag, typically runs hours to a couple of days. If you are past that window with no result, the answer is almost always a resubmission with a better photo, not a support ticket.
Verification is tiered. Lower tiers usually allow deposits and trading with reduced withdrawal limits; higher tiers raise those limits and unlock fiat rails where they exist. The practical consequence: verify to the tier above what you think you need, before you deposit. Discovering a withdrawal limit while trying to withdraw is a bad time to start a verification queue.
What the screen actually shows (checked 2026-09-03):
- Profile > Identification. Two levels only: Primary KYC and Advanced KYC. There is no third tier and no tier ladder. - Advanced KYC asks for two things: an ID and facial recognition. It can be done on the web ('Verify Now') or handed to the phone ('Verify via App'). - If Primary was done with a passport, the page asks you to use the same document for Advanced. Switching document types mid-way is what causes a re-review. - The Account Benefits table is the part worth reading, because it shows what the higher tier does *not* change: crypto deposit is Unlimited at both levels, and Spot/Futures trading is ticked at both. - What does change: crypto withdrawal goes from 8M USDT per day to 20M USDT per day, and fiat trading goes from P2P only to 20K USD per day. - So for anyone trading perpetuals with ordinary size, Primary KYC is enough. The daily withdrawal ceiling at the lower tier is 8 million USDT. Advanced is for fiat rails and for size almost nobody reading this has. - My KYC Details lists Country/Region, Name, ID Type, ID Number and Birth Date. Name, number and birth date are masked on screen with an eye toggle beside them. - An FAQ block sits at the foot of the same page, so the answers are where the form is rather than in a help centre.
*Interfaces change. This was account owner's own screen captures, web, logged in. Name, document number, birth date and country redacted -- structure and limits only.; if what you see differs, trust the exchange.*
Never use someone else's documents, and never pay a service to "pass KYC" for you. Both are fraud, both get the account frozen with funds inside, and both are trivially detected on withdrawal. If you cannot verify in your own name, the venue is not available to you.
